Everything you need to know about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 2.0.0 Update

Nintendo has sent out an update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to get the game ready for the first wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC tracks that are rolling out now!

The update also reveals the names of each of the new cups that will be releasing from now until the end of 2023.

Datamining:

This section is about the datamining findings. Check back regularly as we will be updating this section from time to time.

- The new cups' trophies simply use the same design as the old DLC cups unfortunately!

- New RouteChange node has been added to the BYAML (the file that contains objects, routes, areas, cameras and all that stuff), which apparently applies changes to course objects depending on the lap.

- The course models are indeed 1:1 in scale with the direct port I made from MKT. However, there are some changes in the models (some parts have more polygons for example, and there are more and bigger mountains in the background) The new courses serie have been datamined!
